We, Brandcode İthalat İhracat ve Ticaret A.Ş. incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Turkey,
whose registered office is located at Maslak, Büyükdere Cad., USO Center No.245/2 Sariyer, Istanbul
(“Brandcode” or “Company”), attach great importance to the protection of your privacy. This Privacy
Notice has been prepared to inform you about your personal data processed, the methods by which this data
is obtained, to whom and for what purpose it is transferred, and the legal reasons for data processing.
1. How Do We Collect Your Data?
We collect your personal data electronically and directly from you when you fill the form at
www.brandcode.com.tr (“Our Website”) or contact us via other
electronic means (including sending emails or making phone calls) or when we communicate with you in writing
or orally to respond to your questions and requests through recording those data in our systems.
2. What Data Do We Collect?
We collect your data including ID data (your name- surname), employee data (information about the company you
work at, job title, the country in which the company operates), contact data (address, email address, phone
number,) and other data (information included in your questions and requests) for the purposes stated in the
section titled “Processing Purposes and Legal Reasons” of this Privacy Notice.
3. Processing Purposes and Legal Reasons
We process your personal data listed in the section titled “What Data Do We Collect?” for the following purposes

For the purposes of informing you about our products, sending product catalogues, receiving and evaluating
your requests, feedback or complaints and informing you of the results of such evaluation, responding to your
questions or requests, or managing other communications with you, based on the legal grounds of “the necessity
of processing personal data of the parties to the contract, provided that it is directly related to the
establishment or execution of a contract” and “the necessity of processing data for the legitimate interests
of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject”.

For the purposes of making a claim or defence to protect our rights in the event of a potential dispute, or
handling legal proceedings, based on the legal ground of “the necessity of processing data for the
establishment, exercise, or protection of a right”.

For the purpose of fulfilling our obligations provided in legislation or our other legal obligations to
competent public institutions and organizations, based on the legal ground of “the necessity of processing data
for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation”.
4. Storage of Your Personal Data
We securely store your data for a period it is reasonably necessary for handling your requests and informing
you about our products your firm are interested in. This period is normally five years following the date of the
last communication we received from you. However, in the event of any legal disputes with you, we will store
your data until such dispute has been completely resolved.
5. Transfer of Personal Data
We transfer your personal data to the following parties, in accordance with this Privacy Notice, and to the extent that it is necessary and based on the legal reason of our legitimate interest

To our suppliers from whom we obtain product support and services for information system infrastructure,
system integration and management, database/application/software management, maintenance, support, system
integration, and development services.

To our holding company, Boyner Holding A.Ş., for the sharing of requested information and documents necessary
for audits to be conducted by Boyner Holding A.Ş., including audit reports, if requested.

To Boyner Büyük Mağazacılık A.Ş. for handling our business activities and obtaining consultancy services.
6. Transfer of Personal Data Abroad
We transfer your personal data abroad for the following purposes, in accordance with this Privacy Notice and to the extent that it is necessary for our legitimate interest

For purposes such as email communication, document creation, data editing, presentation development, and
business reporting, to our suppliers from whom we obtain office productivity tools, data processing, and
cloud-based collaboration services, due to the fact that these services are provided from servers located abroad.

For the management of database and operational processes, to our suppliers from whom we obtain cloud platform
and cloud service, application and software development services, database and server services, infrastructure,
hosting, maintenance and development, and system integration services, again due to the fact that these services
are provided from servers located abroad.
7. Data Subject’s Rights
As a data subject, you are entitled to the following:
- To demand for information as to if your personal data have been processed.
- To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether these personal data are used in compliance with the purpose.
- To know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred in country or abroad.
- To request the rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data, if any.
- To request the erasure or destruction of your personal data under certain conditions.
- To request reporting of the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred.
- To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the data processed solely through automated systems.
- To claim compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
- To request for copies of your personal data (we may charge you a small fee for this service).
- To request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
- To object to the processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
- To request the transfer of the data we have collected to another organization or directly to you under certain conditions.
